So...the reason Marvel needed more female super-villains in 1973 was so that...the male super-villains would have someone to go out with?
(Oh, and knowing what we now know about what happened to Thundra, I'm not sure I'd call her much of a coup for feminism...)

What...you mean super heroes and villians can date regular people? Gosh, what a concept!
You'd think so, right? Although I suppose the kidnapped-and-held-hostage thing is less likely when one's SO is super-powered.
